Taking Photos of Your Artwork with Brenda Gallagher
Sunday, March 3, 2024 1:00 PM–2:00 PM (PST)
via Zoom
Event is Free but, Registration is Required!
In this one-hour Zoom workshop, Brenda will teach PSBA members how to effectively photograph your artists' books using the camera and equipment that you probably already have on hand. Good photographs of your artwork are essential to enter juried shows and for reproduction in exhibit catalogs. Teaching from the artist's perspective, rather than the technician, she will help to demystify the process of taking a good photograph—using her own experience as a book artist and designer.
Instructor Bio: Brenda Gallagher is an accomplished artist, book designer, graphic artist, and teacher. She is a member of the Rocky Mountain chapter of the Guild of Bookworkers and on the Boulder Book Arts League board. Her fine binding for the Wild Life Exhibit was shown at the Collins Library as part of a traveling exhibition. She recently graduated from the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, Colorado. Brenda will be designing the 13th Annual Members' Exhibition 2024 catalog.
Zoom Link will be sent out on February 29th and March 3rd.
