As a part of PSBA’s Outreach Program, we are delighted to invite you to submit an application to be included in a month-long February 2025 exhibition at the Elisabeth C. Miller Library housed at the Center for Urban Horticulture, which is part of the University of Washington Botanic Gardens in Seattle.
The Miller Library emphasizes horticulture, botany, plant ecology, and garden design. They serve students, faculty and staff of the University and other regional schools, professional horticulturists and garden designers, and especially the public. Exhibiting art allows them to celebrate local artists who share their love of plants, gardens and nature. Art can be both educational and inspiring, drawing the community into the library throughout the year.
To apply: fill out this form on Formstack

Ground Rules:
- You must be a PSBA member to submit an entry. If the book is a collaboration, only one person on the team needs to be a PSBA Member.
- You do not need to make new work. This is a chance to display any previously made work!
- You do not need to own the work. We will accept entries of artist books in the Collins Library and Cynthia Sears Collections. We will handle the details of the loan.
- Only 1 entry per person. You may upload 3 images of your book.
- The work must be related to the theme: Nature (broadly construed).
- The work will be insured at the Miller Library.
- The work will be displayed in locked cases and free standing in an open area on the top of low stacks. We will install “do not touch” signs for those free-standing works unless the artist would like their work handled. The area is supervised by a central desk.
- Work may be for sale. The Miller Library asks for a 25% donation.
Please note that the curatorial team is seeking an opportunity to travel this exhibit to another local venue in 2025. We will keep you posted if this will happen and will seek permission to have your work travel at that time.
We look forward to your application.
