Registration for Non-PSBA Members opens October 20

In this workshop explore the world of artist books in a variety of ways, building on basic structures of folded paper and simple sewing techniques. By the end of the workshop, you will have created examples which will serve as a foundation for a variety of artist's book structures. Discussions will include choosing papers, consideration of grain direction, glues, pastes and adhesives, and proper use of tools and materials.

This workshop is great for those newer to book arts as well as those wanting a refresher. Even for more advanced book artists, this is an incredible opportunity to spend a day with Bonnie, an expert in the field of hand book binding. There is always something new to learn.

Bonnie will provide each student with a kit of tools to borrow during the workshop, so there is no need to buy or bring tools. Bonus for newer book artists--you will learn what you need to build your own tool kit before making the investment.

No previous book arts experience required.
