  • Description: In this class we will be making an accordion book with hard covers and a label well. We will start the class off folding the accordion to get the feel for it with a soft cover, then move onto covering boards with decorative paper, adding a label well for a title, and gluing in the accordion to your covers. If time permits, we will make an accordion fold with sewn sections.

Presenter:  PSBA member Gabby Cooksey, Graduate of North Bennet Street School for Bookbinding in Boston, MA; studied at the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, CO and at the Montefiascone Conservation Project in Italy

Optional, decorative paper to make your label out of.

All materials and patterns provided.

Workshop fee $20.
