Tacoma Mini-Workshop Accordion Binding 101

Presenter:  PSBA member Gabby Cooksey, Graduate of North Bennet Street School for Bookbinding in Boston, MA; studied at the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, CO and at the Montefiascone Conservation Project in Italy

Description:  In this class we will be making an accordion book with hard covers and a label well. We will start the class off folding the accordion to get the feel for it with a soft cover, then move onto covering boards with decorative paper, adding a label well for a title, and gluing in the accordion to your covers. If time permits, we will make an accordion fold with sewn sections.

Workshop fee $20.
