PSBA September Newsletter

Greetings PSBA members! Wishing you a happy start to Fall!

From Your Board President

Hello all,

It is chilly today, and there is a new quality to the light—more like autumn light. PSBA had its annual board planning retreat on Saturday, September 9. It was a wonderful, exciting day. We have some new board members starting their terms: Fran McReynolds and Ray Zill. Both of them have already been contributing great things to PSBA even before their terms have begun. Welcome!

And we have a couple of long serving members retiring. We are saying goodbye to Mark Hoppmann who has been our excellent webmaster since our website originated. We will certainly miss his skills at problem solving, making it look easy. And we are also going to miss Dorothy McCuistion whose service on the board, teaching skills and creative work on the Programming committee has been very important to us. These two are not leaving PSBA—just finishing their terms.

And we are feeling grateful to two people who have volunteered to take on some of the tasks of maintaining our website in addition to their work as artists. Rachel Watson will be our new webmaster and Jan Dove is going to be our calendar coordinator. There will be more about this and other plans later. Meanwhile, have a wonderful September.
