Annual Event Branding

All events are branded as PSBA events, however each can stand alone in most typography, color palette, and print deliverables. Any event postings should still follow the established protocol, but a header graphic is the first element the membership sees to the theme or feel of the event. Consistency across the event branding is essential for the professionalism of PSBA. Discuss any changes needed with the Communications Committee prior to any significant changes at psba.communications@pugetsoundbookartists.org

Annual Members' Exhibition

Naming the exhibition: Where the theme of the exhibition can vary from year to year, even some years no having a theme. The name of the exhibition must stay consistent for SEO and integrity in the art world. The [year] changes based on the current year.

Annual Book Exchange

Naming the book exchange: The theme of the book exchange changes year to year, usually by popular vote. The name of the book exchange must stay consistent for SEO and integrity in the art world. The [year] changes based on the current year. Since the annual book exchange is primarily directed at the membership adding Puget Sound Book Artists isn't needed. However, any public facing media must include Puget Sound Book Artists.

As an organization based in Tacoma, Washington, we acknowledge the Puyallup Tribe and invite you to visit the official web site of the Puyallup and listen to their land acknowledgement statement. We acknowledge that we are on the traditional homelands of the Puyallup Tribe. The Puyallup people have lived on and stewarded these lands since the beginning of time, and continue to do so today. We recognize that this land acknowledgement is one small step toward true allyship and we commit to uplifting the voices, experiences, and histories of the Indigenous people of this land and beyond.

We also encourage you to view the presentation of Amber Hayward and Paige Pettibon of the Puyallup Tribal Language Program, joined by Jessica Spring, local printer, that is available from our YouTube Channel.

PSBA is a non profit organization and our assigned tax ID number is 27-3540754. If you have questions concerning this status, please consult the PSBA Treasurer: Fran McReynolds at info@pugetsoundbookartists.org
